While our focus is the preservation of the historic homes in the District and the overall betterment of the City of Plainfield, we are equally committed to building a sense of community among neighbors. Each year we hold 10 monthly meetings to discuss the business of the organization but also to socialize and develop relationships among our members and anyone who would like to attend. Our January meeting is replaced by the 12th Night Progressive Dinner hosted in four of our District homes and open to members and our friends and families. In July, we gather for our annual picnic which gives us another opportunity to mingle with our neighbors and for the last three years has been the opportunity to honor the Plainfield High School seniors who have been the recipients of our college scholarship program.
